In der laufenden Saison haben die im Juni 2008 vom 52. ordentlichen ISU Kongress verabschiedeten Bestimmungen gültigkeit:
 

• ISU Constitution & General Regulations 2008  
• ISU Special Regulations & Technical Rules for Single and Pair Skating
   

• Communication No. 1540: Use of papers/documents by Judges during competitions (relevant für Preisrichter)
• Communication No. 1505: Guidelines for marking GOE of Single/Pair Elements (positive aspects)
• Communication No. 1494: Scale of Values, Guidelines for marking GOE and Levels for the season 2008-2009

• Communication No. 1420: Citizenship & Residence Requirements and Clearance Procedure
